The Grounds at the Chinook Aerie
Fire Circle and Dome
A good red road leads to the Fire Circle and geodesic Dome. The Dome’s 20 foot diameter and large south facing window provides guest housing and a round house for small group work. No burn season between May and November.


The Medicine Garden
A healing and learning space, the Medicine Garden introduces visitors to 30 traditional healing plants along a spiral path. Seating among wild roses, the Garden welcomes visitors between April and November. Dormant in winter.
Pond and Waterfall
Beautiful sitting area under traditional Klamath wedding juniper tree, the pond is in bloom and waterfall falls between April and November. Solar powered.
Elder Sweat Lodge
A round building made of round juniper posts, the elder sweat has ramp access and bench seating for up to 20. Wood stove is in the center, with stones sitting atop stove. Entrance is in the East.
Creek
Seasonal creek runs March to June. Astonishing wild flowers change each month from widow’s grass to wild iris to yarrow and wild geraniums.
Labyrinth
9 circuit cretan labyrinth, 60 feet across, made of stone.
Medicine Wheel
Large stone sitting circle encloses classic Sun Medicine Wheel from the Lakota tradition.
